mpc 1000 cd

i wanted to know how i can put my beats from the mpc 1000 to my computer?the reason why i ask is because i wanted to put my beats on a cd. thanks

Listen im very new to this but most of these guys have major heavyweight knowledge on the subject. However I personally bought an Emu 0404 external sound card to enable me to record from the MPC 1000 onto Cubase on my laptop.

There's probably alternative routes to take as like I said I'm also new to this but I thought I'd let you know.

You can connect the outputs from your MPC1000 to your Emu interface then record the audio from your MPC1000.

Also, you can resample your MPC and then export as a Wav file. This basically creates a copy of whatever is playing at your main outputs on the MPC and saves it within the MPC.

I do a ruff cut to shop my beats around. I use cubase , but I go out the headphone and in my computer . No extra sound cards.

Then when someone cop's a beat I take my time track it out .

You can also set the MPC to record Main Output, press record (remember to set the time to the length of the of beat), and save the recording to a memory card. This way you don't need a sound card.

thats the way to go - cos if your connecting from headphones to computer with a stock soundcard you'll prbalbly loose quality/ get a low hum in the background.

recording main out inside the mpc is defiitly the way. - then just drop your wav onto nero or whatever cd writing software you got.

I have just bought a Emu soundcard as advised by a music store in Glasgow lol.

Now you guys have stated that theres a way to do it with just the MPC and burning software......live and learn I suppose.......DAMMIT!!!!!!!!!!!!

But is it possible to change seq and track mute doin it the main out way?

not that im aware of - the only way ive done it is from playing a song sequence. - im pretty sure you cant leave the recording screen whilst recording.

so do you make your songs all on one seq?
