Renaming Midi devices, saving APS... not autoloading correct

I recently have tried renaming a few of my midi devices for templates inside the 2xl..but when I save them to my aps file for autoload,they are not loading with the names correctly,they just revert back to 1a-device-01 etc.. when I named them 1a-xv5080.. etc... 2b-guru anyone know what I can do.. I've tried resaving the All file by the way with an overwrite..

Save aps, all, pgm, seq, whatever you can to get it to save correctly.

Don't just give up after trying to save once.

Use all the save options and see what it gives.

It was by done by saving an ALL Sequence+Songs that it was able to work correctly... :wink: Thanks

I know I sound like a broken record BUT "in the manual" (go ahead and laugh) the
file format extensions are detailed and what is saved inside each format is detailed as well.

Me, I ALWAYS save for each project, aps and all, I never have problems.

So Lampdog, I'm new on the XL. How are you setting up your folders to save APS/ALL files? If I use 1 main program to start most beats, should I be saving different APS/ALL files in the folder with the main program sounds each time? Or should I set up a new folder for every new beat, duplicate the sounds from the main program and save a single APS and single ALL file in the new folder.
