Previewing sounds

Ok, so i did a bit of searching and can't find what i'm looking for. I'd like to know if you can preview sounds from the load screen on the 2000xl MCD blue version? Like how you can press F5 on the 1000.

no you cant, you must load then preview, then discard if its not what u want. forces u to rename and remember.
