Backlight of the new Blue LCD Screen is flickering

Hi

For about few Weeks i had install my new Display.
It looks good an works fine.

And now.........

The LED Backlight bigins to flickering....
bright-dark-bright-dark........and so on.....

Ive no Ideas and what can I do ?

Whats wrong?

Lol, err, well you fitted it boyo ....

Maybe check all your connections/solders ?

Make sure none of your solders are 'bridging' other connections.

If the LCD's themselves have identical specs then its not compatibility, maybe faulty lcd ?

The connect and Solders are ok and no bridging

I think the Specs is not identical.

The Backlight Power of the original Screen is: 2,5V
And the new Screen has: 3,5V

Only 1V and the Screen is going crazy ??!!

Are the Backlight now damaged ?

What can I Do ?

man i admire people who do mod jobs like these. i could never open up my mpc and do such a thing.a blue lcd would look mighty fine, but i much rather have working green one than a broke one...

If you want a blue screen on your new MPC2500, just slap some yellow see thru plastic on the screen. Voila! Blue screen for free.

it could be that something fell out of place when u were banging on the pads, although i've never installed a lcd screen before so i wouldn't know how sturdy the connections would be. i would try reinstalling it again.

....No risk...No fun....

i think you need to go back to 1st grade art class.
