Hi Guys, i'm new on here so Wsup All

I'm new to the MPC, i just bought one yesterday.

A MPC2000 for 350$,and after 4 hours i was already making beats without the help of the manual, its just so logic how everything works..

But i got a BIG problem !!

I got 2 external zip drives with it, but i think their the parallel drives.

So when i hook one of these up on my mpc, and go to the "Disk" menu in the MPC,
i find my floppy,
I can scroll 1 time to the right and i can see 'Flash Rom'
But if i scroll again to find the scsi device, it just freezes up and says 'Wait...',
i even let my mpc on the whole night hoping it would be fixed when i woke up, but it wasnt...

Is the parallel zip drive the cause of this?
Or am i ripped off, and my MPC is broke?

Thanks in advance guys !
Help a brotha out

You need a Zip Drive with a Termination ID on the back or your F901 scsi fuse is out.

So that is why it is stuck to Wait when i try to find it?
Is this normal?

Cause it happens also when i do this and the zip drive is not connected.

I just want to know if it will be fixed if i get myself a working zip drive,
or what do i have to do if the scsi fuse is out.

When i start up the mpc i can see this :SCSI 7: flickering, even when the shit isnt connected.

Yeah thanks man,
so it is normal that is freezes on Wait, if i try to find other devides other then Floppy and Flash Rom, even when the zip drives not connected?
And the :SCSI7: flickering in the beginning is normal too?

So if i get the right zip drive everything will be cool?

Thanks man!
