Questions from nerd...again

Hey people,
got few questions.
1. How to set mpc, that when I hit a pad, the pad I hit before is stop playing? eg. when i play my sample already chopped up I hit pad number 1 than number 2, but number 1 is still going on;/ (if you know what i'm saying:])
2. I made 2 bar long break and than i wanted to put 4 or 8 bar long sample on it, but when i was recording the sample part break stoped playing after 2 bar. How to loop this break to play 4 or 8 bar?
3. I don't know how to arrange my song, I mean if i make 3 separate parts (intro, verse, hook) and than i want to put it together.

I really tried to search it, but questions like that are hard to find.

Hope, anyone would like to just help me.

First, look at the [SAMPLE] to get to the NOTE ON instead of NOTE REPEAT.

Second, I don't want to be a jerk... but you have to read the manual, straight up. You'd find the answer to ALL YOUR questions....

If you can't find one, then go to AKAI's site and sign up to get updates and download the PDF manual.

The answers to your questions are not hard to find....

with question 3, are you asking for advice on how to arrange a track? if yes the answer would be: experiment! cos without us hearing the samples and fiddling with the track ourselves its impossible to tell you what to do.

if you're asking how do you link up sequences.... well start by going to song mode... and then read your manual if you cant work it out yourself in about.... 10 seconds.

but yeah, seriously, if you've just bought your 1000, spend a couple of weeks reading your manual and old posts on this site, cos it really is a good source of info for beginners .... although its full of the same old questions - like yours.

like i said, be patient - give it a few weeks and get to know your machine. you'll be making tracks well and quickly soon enough.

yup just take tyme yo...ur not gunna master it in one sitting thats for sure

Deff can't put a 8 bar sample on a 2 bar seq. Make your seq 8 bar's if that's what your seq is.
