Pitch change without tempo change

yeah but its still clear as day what he's doin'......PP's are useful if there's the kind of rhythmic and melodic content as shown in his example....thus, the usually dirty nature of these PP's can be somewhat avoided.

SO for any of you wondering.... take your sample and convert it to a patch phrase with the correct tempo first.... then take that new (samplepp) and plug it into 16 levels... so that you can change the pitch with out effing up the tempo..... plain ENGRISH!!!!!!!

i struggle with pitch/tempo issues, and use third party soft on pc - prosoniq, traktor dj studio,
to pitch shift samples, 'cause mpc's algorithm is sh!!!! as hell,
i use it for lo-fi/fx purposes
very curious about your combined method

patched phrase is bogus compared to chopping to a new program and replaying the pieces.
god, that damn video...i wish he'd take it down.

yeh i am yet to use a patched phrase. would be cool if it imported rex files though

there is an app for yo mpc that reads rex files
dont know what its called though
