4000 os update help

Whats Good?

I have search and searched and now I have to ask for help.

I am trying to update my 4000 with the latest os .
I am doing it now because it seems everything is cool with the new update .
I have the drivers even though they are not from akai but from
http://www.gotchanoddin.com/mpc4/index.html but for some reason my pc want see the usb connection.
My pc is brand new. "I know so what" but could that be the problem.
if someone could type me (lol) through the process it would be appreciated.

I have notice that it's not that much info concerning the 4000.
