Not tying to be a d*ck but theres no way you could have read the manual. The MPC is a sampler so basically all you need to read up on is how to sample. Then read up on how to create a program. The forums are a dope place to learn tricks and techniques but you have to put the effort in on your own to at least learn the basic functions.

Doesn't the manual have a basic tutorial on how to use the sounds that come on the card?

If not, then head over to Youtube and search for MPC how to's and MPC 1000 Tutorials... There is some useful info on there... Not all of it is useful, but that will get you further than we would be willing to.

Come on Ex, that was a little harsh......... Would noobs some of us wouldn't feel so smart.

OP, just check Youtube for MPC Tutorials.... And keep reading the manual and it will all come together.... Or buy the MPC Tutorial they offer on this site (No Affiliation) and have at it.. That is how I did it. It takes time, and you still won't sound gr8t (check my sig). It takes, time, patience, talent, and Last but not least RingTFM

How to load, assign samples is in the manual. DO IT while reading it, don't just read it and try to understand it, DO IT. Follow it through. How to create sequences is in the manual as well. All the basics are in the manual.
