No Sound in program mode

Hi All
I have just upgraded my mpc 1000 OS to 2.11, which left me with no output when trying to play sounds in program mode. (headphone and analogue out). I subsequently tried the jj OS 3.08 but again NO SOUND! The only time I have any output at all is when I preview sounds in the load page or recording into the MPC. Someone please help Im going crazy.

FYI....I discovered that mode/midi/pad to internal sound was set to OFF after the upgrade. Old trick for new (mpc operator since '04) players?
