note variation slider replacement

hey, am about to change my note variation slider for the first time on my mpc 2kxl...have serached this site and the manual...cant find any walkthroughs so im assuming this will be pretty straightforward! if anyone has done it before or knows where i may find a guide/youtube vid...feel free to give some tips!

Did the same thing with mine. Bought a new fader from Cimple Solutions really cheap, then got it fitted by Studiocare (both UK).
Came to about 30 quid, but if you're confident with soldering you could do it yourself.

yeh i got my replacement from cimple....

somebody did the soldering for me...its not a difficult job they told me but theres a hell of a lot of screws etc to undo!! thats the frustrating part

works nicely now though....time to discover the joys of a fully-functional slide fader for the first time in my mpc "career"!
