Hey guys. Trying to save a sequence to a .wav with no success. DO I need to make it a song?? Can saving a sequence be done? I can save all of the sounds I have playing on the drum pads. Also I loose the drum sounds on the pads after I shut the system and turn it back on. This is got to be easy..... THose are the only things I can't do and they seem easy. Please help. Thanks

Trying to save a sequence to a .wav? :?
Or do you mean that you are trying to save your sequence?
You need to save .ALL(all sequences and songs), and .APS(all programs and sounds). Make a new folder for every .ALL file you create, and make sure you are saving the .APS file too.
Do a search for "saving" I'm pretty sure there's tons of info.

Trying to (SOME HOW) take my sequence and save it to my Zip in .wav format. Can it be done?? I do a search for saving and found my post fist with not much help after. If anyone knows of the right link please leave it.

I have looked all over the forums and I do feel retarted. But what is the process to record a sequence than export the to .wav on to my zip so I can use it. The midi export is crap all's I hear is paino :(.

So I can make beat with out using them??

it cant be done buddy! you can only save the sounds that make up the sequence. all sequcne data is saved as midi. the only way tio do this is to record from the stereo outs to another recording device.

Not really clear on what you're tryin to do so I'll cover both sides with a rough description.

triggering the MPC from a software sequencer using and exported mid file....
if you exported the *.mid sequence, make sure you assign the midi output of the channel to the corresponding Midi receive channels on the MPC or you won't hear your samples being triggered. Sounds like you've got the midi notes being sent to / playing thru a module or something.

making a WAV file from MPC sequence...
If you want to record an audio wav file of your sequence, record from the stereo outs from the back of the MPC or your mixer into your audio app of choice. If your audio app isn't a seqencing program too (like Sound Forge) Then import that wav file info whatever proggy you wanna work with (Logic, Cakewalk, Nuendo whatever).

But first and foremost, read the manual.
