Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Ok..so I've had my mpc for about a year now and i stopped using a computer. On top of not using my comp, I pretty much stopped using all my other gear and used just the mpc...I sold off a lot of shit and kept only what I absolutely needed. Now I'm down to a novation basstation, my mpc, an s950, and some outbord effects... . It seems a waste that I'm not using anything else...but it I've been having trouble hooking that stuff up. I've never had a fully functional studio in the 5 years I've been at it (which is why I got rid of the comp and Logic) which is why I love my 2kxl cause for the most part, a baby could use it. The one thing I will never be able to figure out is midi... So...what's the best way to hook these 3 up...I'm not concerned with the effects cause I do that afterwards anyway. But I use a controller for the Bass Station rack...and I was wondering what the best way to go about hooking the 3 up would be without having to unplug and replug all the time? I've done searches, and read all manuals over and over...but here I am. Any help? Thanks in advance

Hook your controller up to MIDI IN 1. on the mpc

then

MIDI OUT A - BassStation Rack.
MIDI OUT B - s950.

im not sure how many parts these devices have but youll have to then set up your channels for the mpc and these machines accordingly.

and i guess most of this is assuming that you have a mixer and all the right cords.[/img]

whats sort of data. note data. or controller. your controller k/b that you have hooked up to the ins.

go to track1.

choose MIDI: Device1a

well i think the basstations knoibs send midi, so you could try hooking it up tio your spare midi in (midi in B). then pressing play on the mpc. ( pressuming u have made a seq on it for the bassstation). you should be able to sequnce some data to another track and so on.
