after time the pads start to soften up, however i found that pads 1-6 were softer than pads 7-12. This is obviously due to the fact that i use those pads more, and logically its probably the same for a lot of you.

Anyway, here's the tip. If you open up the mpc (dont do this if you still have warranty) you'll find that the pads can be reversed 180 degrees since they are symetrical. So bascially you can rotate them and then pads 1-6 will be the stiff ones and 7-12 the soft ones. With time they'll all be lovely and soft.

ps. own risk etc if you do this. To open the case, remove all bottom and side screws, gently pry the case from the left (top facing up) and once thats lifted tou can gently slide it to the right a little and it will become free.
