I've been using logic for quite some time making loop based music and recently picked up a 2500. I just purchased a presonus firebox and i run logic on a powerbook g4. I've searched the forums for quite some time trying to find a thread that directly relates to my issue( hooking up the mpc to the interface so its functional in logic) but i cant find what i need. The 4000 and logic 8 thread looked promising but still didnt really help me. Any help that anyone can provide me with would be much appreciated.
As of now i have midi in 1 plugged into the midi out of the firebox, the midi out a plugged into the midi in of the firebox, and i have logic set up so it detected the firebox as the interface.

Thank you for your time in advance.

'Sup...
I am a brand new MPC user, but have been using Logic 8 since last year and Logic 7 Express 7.2 before that (new user since '97). Check out this link, it should get you startedhttp://www.beatclinic.co.uk/productiontips/advanced/mpc.htm. Hope it helps!

peace,

thanks for the link, but i dont think thats exactly what im looking for. I dont want to use my mpc to trigger virtual instruments and sequence in the mpc. I want to take all the shit on my mpc and play it like a instrument and record right into logic and use that as my brain. If anyone could please help...I'd appreciate it. Thank you.
