mpc 1000 and logic 8

Hello! I have this problem when recording from the mpc to logic 8, and its seriously driving me crazy!! The mpc is synced up with logic as slave but everytime im recording, for example a snare, into logic it isn't lined up perfectly with the grid. I got the same tempo in logic and the mpc and a low buffer size when recording, but still the same problem.
Right now im using the akai os 2.11, but i have downloaded free version of jj os and tried this without any success: viewtopic.php?f=25&t=93866&p=881813&hilit=+mpc+1000+logic+record+to+logic+8#p881813.
Ive been reading around alot about this, but never found a solution so please help me!

My setup is: Mpc 1000 (akai os 2.11, about to switch to jj)
Mbox
Macbook core 2 duo
Midiman midisport 2x2

I have my MPC 2500 (JJ OS1 5.54) synced perfectly up to Logic Pro 8 as "slave".

Here's my settings:

MPC
Sync In: 1 (Slave)
Mode: MIDI CLOCK
Receive MMC: OFF

Logic
