How Much Did You Pay?

How much did you pay for your MPC1000?
Im in the market right now for one and will be purchasing one once I sell enough stuff on ebay. Once I buy my 1000 with the JJOS I will sell my 500.
And how would I know what black 1k's have the better pads???

i paid 600$ for the blk 1k with maxed out memory and jjos off ebay and the pads work great......i suggest ebay or craigslist...that way u can personally ask the seller or whoever, how the pads are etc. that way u dnt buy lets say a refurbished one off some online store and end up finding out when u get the 1k,that the pads r fuked up....

I do plan on buying from ebay. Plan on spending no more than $600 but would if I have to. Either way Im getting my grind on Ebay. Im making a little under $100 every week selling 2 items a week so looks like I will be joining the 1k fam soon.

I Traded my first born!

$500 for MPC 1000 with old pads and 128 mb ram and 256 mb cf card + $60 (i think) for a 120gb hardrive + $80 or so for JJ OS

I traded a sidekick slide + $100 so $350 the dude was a drummer from a no name band and he only wanted to use the mpc for bass stabs but he never learned how to use it and was desperate to sell it! it also came with 120mb ram. I love craigslist!

JJOS1 & 2 (Got to it just before the prices went up, not too sure now)

I don't intend to spend anymore on her, other than basic maintenance if needed. It might pay to purchase spare buttons etc from MPC stuff for when they no longer make parts for it/it becomes discontinued, that way I can keep her going til the day I die. After what I paid for it, it better bloody outlive me, it's the single most expensive item I've ever bought!

I've paid $400-500 for mine, i've had a few now, i won't sell for less than $600. I would expect to pay $500-600 if you don't want to wait. I've missed some for $300-400 many times because i didn't have extra cash but i don't see those deals when i do.

Brand new from Sam Ash I paid 960 (including taxes and extended warranty). It came with the new pads.

upgraded ram for $17 on Ebay
60gb HD and kit was $60 total

$1037 for the MPC and then 39 for JJOS 1



But as stated above, you can def have an almostg maxed out unit for 700 or less depending on what extras it has....... I think $700 is a great spending limit on one of these....

i just got my new blk 1k from dolphin music £520
I'd already been ripped off on eBay for £350 so I didn't want to take another chance. I will never do another bank transfer in my life!!
