A troubleshooting section.... Um what :?: I find that to be wierd. Every other appliance/electric thing (whateva man u know what I mean) has a troubleshooting part in the back of the manual. So.....wussup? Do they thing they machine is perfect..I doubt it  . Or maybe they purposely left it out for...other reasons. B/c my pads are triggering other pads and its pissing me off. I took the cover off (which is a **** compared to how easy taking the cover off the 2000xl and 100 is) took out the pad sensor and replugged it and held erase when turning on the MPC. And I know it isnt the program, b/c I tried it w/o loading any sounds. I went to the program part and hit a pad and looked on the side and saw all the pads it was triggering. DAMN U AKAI!!! Or shall I say Numark?

You posted all that but didn't explain your problem and solution.

What if someone in the future has your same problem?
They can successfully troubleshoot because of your info here.
