How do you lenghten the bar count?

I got the MPC500..... I gotta beat..I get down to it...But I need more than just two bars.... it's looping too early messing me up... For this perticular beat I need four.... I might even need eight in future or 16..... i mean wtf? Hey does anyone know what i have to do to lengthen the bar count to whatever... in this case four at least...

Or alternatively, spend more than 15 minutes using it.

Wow! I thought that people could come here and ask questions and receive help from more experienced and wise members...instead you get ripped for your questions. As someone who just started using an MPC I don't think this is a crazy question and instead of taking the time to be sarcastic and mean, any one of you upstanding and contributing members could help a noob out. These kind of responses don't really make this seem like a welcoming place.

That said, press sequence and then the PARAMS button and you should get what you are looking for...

the point is to stop being lazy and read the manual, only then should you come here and ask questions, since you shouldnt have many if you actually took the time like the rest of us.
