my new RAM makes my MPC 1000 reset over and over ?

I took all the specs from the sticky on here about MPC 1000 RAM and got a 256MB stick of it. I installed it into my MPC 1000 and when i turned it on it would just reset itself until i turned the MPC off ?.

maybe the ram is bad. maybe the ram is not seated correctly.

take out the ram and see what happens when you power on.

if the mpc acts normal w/ no ram then the ram is to blame.
