I haven't even heard the sample yet (can't listen to it at work) but today I feel like a good day to join this shizzle haha
I'll post mine in the evening if I can work something proper out of it..

lol, appreciate it....If you learned anything from the last battle, you would know that I almost always come outta left with these samples....Hell, I only sample when it comes to the little joints we do on here....Other then that, its just me and the keys!!!!

very nice flipping - i like the way you added that drum roll - kind of mirrors the roll in the sample.

i had to work all weekend (till 4am sunday night) and then go on holiday - and just got back - think i missed my chance to pitch in with a flip but nm.

really nice work with the sample guys - i remember when i did try to use it a while back i felt like it was one of those samples thats hard to take anywhere, but theres been some super nice ideas in your beats.

So far this has been a bit of an ongoing thing. It's not like we agreed to a date or anything for submissions. If you got a flip on the sample...why not post it?

If we want to get some votes in maybe the OP can edit the original post to make a poll or something.

I do feel you on the sample being something hard to take anywhere...unless you use minor parts of it to incorporate into something totally different...or if the whole song was available...just chopping out more pieces, and making some different sequences.

It's those repetitive horns that make it hard to get to chopping and give a different feel, cause almost wherever you chop you get that horn.
