questions mpc 1000

hello i have a few question about the mpc 1000.
i bought it 2 months ago, but i have a few problems.
first:
i hooked my mpc 1000 up with the computer, everything works fine, i can record the sound from my mpc to my computer.
but i want to work with midi, i have 2 midi cables from my midi out to my pc with an e-mu 0404 soundcard.
i set everything in cubase in sync etc..
but how can i sync it with my mpc to my computer it doesn't work.

and my second question is..

i want to export al the chopped sounds to my computer, and then i want to play them via midi.
but is that possible with kontakt 3 in cubase?
and how can i direct the chopped samples to my pads?
