So I ordered it off of E-bay, listed as "factory refurbished.." And then I read that the blue and red have problems with the sensory of the pads. Great. If it's factory refurbished, shouldn't all problems be solved already? Any personal experiences? And I also read some guy came up with a fixer for that issue and he was selling a kit.. is that kit still on sale? Where can I buy it? BTW i didn't get it yet.. it's still on its way.

You mean the pad replacement? It goes for about $200. Check out mpcstuff.com They should have it but it goes fast.

good call. some of these retailers (like guitar center) might be ignorant about it though. better safe than sorry i suppose. i'll probably just buy a used off ebay for ~$500 and immediately jump in line for the pad fix. still saving money that way. 8)
