Hey everyone.... i recently bought a brand new mpc500 got my friend in taiwan to buy it for me and brought back to where i live (new zealand). ive had no problems with it, ever since i got it i ran it on the 6 aa batteries. but now ive taken the batteries out and tried to use the ac adapter to run the thing and it doesnt seem to want to turn on. no light, no nothing. this is strange.... the mpc only seems to work when ive got the batteries in there. anyone know any solutions to this MAJOR problem? haha

ps... i am using an adaptor (to convert taiwan power supply thingees to new zealand's one) but i dont think this would make a difference??????

thanks everyone!

Check the voltage on the power suply, and see if it matches.

Make sure wherever you get it from it has a warranty and receipt so you can return it if need be.
