Best storage solution fro mpc3000

Hey fam! I'm about to add this beauty in my setup..i was wondering if the 3ks work flawlessly with some drives and what you recommend..I saw these external MCD scsi drives in mpcstuff instead of the classic zip.Let me know what y'all thinkin'.Thanks in advance.

TK just ordered a brand new black-face PD-25Bi from us today, which we will be shipping to him tomorrow. Those are excellent storage choices for an MPC3000 and they work with either the original os or with the Vailixi os. In fact, I believe they are the only card readers that allow you to run Valixi in multi-sector mode for both read and write, making these operations much faster.

You can see a picture of the external model in my avatar. Ignore the dancing cat; he got in there somehow and I cannot get him to leave.

We still have a few in stock but they won't last much longer.

i use a scsi zip drive and it works fine

Thanks for the input guys.I think i'll go for a card reader.Have to wait first for the lady to arrive haha!

For all my "works in progress" I use a FIXED external case SCSI hard disk drive.

This gets moved between the computer and MPC3000 for library creation purposes.

Takes advantage of the Vailixi Hybrid Partition option for computer<>MPC3000 file transfer.

Works blindingly fast compared with a card reader of any sort.

Having said that.

For gigs, sessions and such ... the card reader is chosen each time.

The ZIP drives come along for the ride too, just in case.
