that url is where i searched and found the closest thing, but didnt understand exactly what bedouin said. i remember reading somewhere that re-sampling drums in 12-bit will give it that good hip hop sound. and sampling drums in mono will give it that effect as well. but how do you do either one? like is there an option when recording that will change the drum kick to 12-bit mono? i seriously dont remember either option showing up, on audacity or the 500. i also dont record straight into the 500, i record from my TTUSB Turntable into Audacity, then export that sample to my 500, after i chop it or whatever.
