Anyone paint the mpc1000 yet ?

if so, how do i do it ?


do the red siding come off ?

all i wanna paint is the red siding, the rec and overdub, and the compact flash border

i also want to paint it - but the whole mpc. and - even more omportant - i want to change the round sliders (what´s the name of it in english? knobs?) anybody did?

the only modification i want to make is the data wheel. i dont like it. maybe the rec gain and master volume knobs.

they should get off this "blue era" bullsh*t and make the 100 look old school.

I wish that the sides were painted grey, like the pads, only maybe a little darker. That would be smart looking.

Somebody buy the mpc1000 with this color?? photo?? on the web i find only little pictures.

ummm, ok, but yeah it would be dope as hell to see a modified mpc 1000, can't wait to see someone do it. i'm thinking about doing mine in the future defenitely the red sides, i like the blue, and the white knobs gotta go, it makes the machine look toyish. i wonder if opening my mpc1000 voids the insurance i put on it?

speaking of the data wheel, the gray on my wheel is wearing off already... and the qlink sliders woble up and down (and they are now easy to pull off)... is this happening to anyone else?
