Im looking for an ASR-10 to accompany my 4000 but they are very rare across the Atlantic. Clearly my best bet is buying from the US probably using ebay.com where there is a steady flow of ASR's on offer. Something I didnt really want to do. Maybe I will have to come for a holiday (when it goes back to £1=$2) and cop one while im there, not sure when yet.
My question is this:
What should I look out for when buying this board? I dont want to buy one and then discover I need 'optional' parts that may be hard to find. Is the SCSI option essential? Which OS should I expect? Anything else worth checking before I buy?
And what do you guys think is a fair price (in US dollars) with/ without SCSI in average condition?
Appreciate any opinions from current owners.
