Anyone paint the mpc1000 yet ?

well start to see modifications after the 1 year waranty runs out. people just dont want to void it by trying to make it look cool. remember it hasn't been out for a year yet, so dont expect to see anything crazy for a couple more months.

They're not even expensive, someone crack your jammie open and paint it already damnit!

painted the sides and the memory stick slot... hated the red. I just need to crack it and change the purple buttons then I will be happy with the appearance.

I used some plastic paint from homedepot. 7 bucks! Tried to scratch it off on the backside but it seems like it is quite fixed to the surface.

took me a whopping 5 miutes.

hey overdose, did you have to take off the plastic pieces on the mpc, or did you just paint it...

I pulled the pieces off, then painted.
the plastic sides come off with 2 screws per side and then the plastic slides out (it is notched at 3 points so dont pull on it as you will break the notches.

as for the memory stick slot.. get a small flathead screwdriver and pry it out. just be carefull. the screw beside it is not apart of the cover.

i'll try that in the future, you did a good job with that paint... looks dope!!!
