Tracking Out

Here's the scenario, by the 500 having just 1 output how is it possible to make the perfect mix? Im used to dealing with the mixer with software, having each track on a seperate channel, the obvious ish! But lately with the 500 I just make a beat then track it over to my DAW! I know about resampling, then pulling the wav file over off the card to the computer, tried it out its cool. how do you obtain a good mix if you just pull over a whole beat, can it be done. I've got Waves diamond bundle, let me know whats good!

Your not going to get the best version of your mix by 2-tracking the beat. Use MIDI and your DAW to lay each track individually.

Good looks homie. It was actually done on a 1000+motif

I record each track one by one to my DAW. It works but in the beginning linging clips was pain in the arse. I'm using my mpc only for making drums so I'm having only 4 tracks tops to record.

Nothing stops you from getting good results recording the whole beat as a stereo track. It just puts more pressure in getting everything right from the first place. That might be a good thing.

Pretty expensive plug-ins you have there..
