I know all midi continous stuff works perfect when using MPC1k like a sequencer.
So what I'm asking here is how it works with the internal sampler engine.

1. Pitch bend option
I've noticed that JJ OS recognices pitch bend when playing internal sampler, which Akai OS does not. Great! Is this "hardwired" to "always on" and "+-one octave" or can the response be edited in programs?

2. Modulation and other Midi CC:s
Am I right in assuming there's no way to map midi CC:s to parameters (like filter or lfo frequency) in MPC programs?

3. Midi CC in Slider menu
What's this for? I don't understand the manual.

4. Aftertouch during playback
Aftertouch is not reproduced correctly while PLAYING, but the recorded stuff will play back correctly. Am I right or did I miss something?

the pitch bend is always +/-1 octave. you can change the values after the fact in step edit or grid edit.

as of yet filter cutoff and resonance within mpc programs can be manipulated with an external controller in jjos2. they operate on dedicated cc's. can't remember which (14 & 15 maybe...? its in the manual..)

lets you send and record control change messages in realtime using the q-links. nice for tweaking synth parts you've recorded in the sequencer etc. or maybe to control 2 separate sliders in fruity loops if you're really into irony.

i haven' thad a problem with this. it seems to work for me, though i'm pretty sure the after touch is "channel pressure" based rather than true polyphonic aftertouch. i.e. one aftertouch message affects all notes on a given channel rather than each note having its own value.

edit - damn you legs mechanical. haha this is basically identical...

hardwired, always on active track, always +- 1 octave. i suggest using the JS effect "pitch wheel" in Reaper to control the depth/limits of your pitch bend. it's a great plugin.

71 is resonance, 74 and 2 are brightness. otherwise, no mapping

you can assign a midi cc to a qlink for use outside of qlink/control edit

i think i noticed something like this in 1.19, but i'm not sure. will have to do more testing. it's always worked before.
