i was wondering if i had a bunch of files, how would i go about burning them to cd. so that i could load the samples. and i would also be doin this for all my custom kits, and so that i can start saving sequences and songs to cd after transferring them from floppy disk. i dont like floppy disks much.

Uou have to save the sounds as wavs. And you shouldn't use more than eight characters per name. I think. Someone correct me if I'm wrong ..

And if you don't have an XL you will have to have them as .snd files on the cd as the older .pgm format that the old mpc2000 used does not have a place for the file extension (it only saves the name part of the filename in the program) and automatically looks for that name as a .snd file.
It will not find it if it is the same name but as a .wav file.

External cdr's won't work with the mpc.
