Wav file is locked?

i have the autoload file stored in my cpu.i took some sounds and transferred them to the mpc,used some sounds then i hooked it back up to take the sounds outta the cf card and it says cannot delete cause wav files are locked.so i dragged them to my desktop but i cant get them off wont let me trash them.next to the files they all have a little lock attached to them......has this ever happened to anyone well thanks in advance for any advice......-Joey

i have a mac and i think it has something to do with the graphic converter pgm.i guess ill have to look further into it thanks for any info.-Joey

i figured it out thanks anyhow.kinda off subject anywayz.i had to higlight then go to get info then uncheck the locked box.i dunno how it got locked in the first place oh well.

Did they come off a CD? Then the "read only" attribute can be set by default, that has happened to me on the PC.
