Okay, I'm totally new to this board so please bare with me. I've been making beats for over 3 years and after getting schooled by a lot of producers who are starting to make big moves I've finally decided to get an MPC2000XL. My one friend who made the move from the 2000XL to the 2500 Limited Edition has said he would sell me his Blue 2000XL for $200. The only thing is he said there's 2 problems with it that are easily fixable:

1) The SHIFT, ENTER & Number Buttons aren't working or reading at all.

2) Some of the Pads aren't working either.

A few other producers have said jump on this ASAP, cause the button issue and the pad issue could be fixed real easy.

Can all you MPC veterans toss me some sound advice on if I should take this, or save up some more loot and get one with no issues?

Sorry for the long post, but if you could help me out I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks,
Mike

jump on the xl .. even if you spent $250 (which personally i dont think it would even cost that much) you only spent 450 on an xl that already has a card reader in it? If your in the market for an xl or will be in the near future this is a good chance. Plus you know who used it. All said in done after you fixed it if you werent really feelin the XL you could sell it for much more, being fixed and in good working condition. But yes i think from a glance this is a good deal.
