Greetings,

I know that the issue of converting WAV to SND files has been covered here for many times, and indeed i have no problem doing so using Awave. However, I cannot seem to create PGM's that contain several samples. What i want basically is to create programs with no pad assignments, so i can load them in my 3K and choose the samples i want at the moment. I am new to Awave, and can't figure out the procedure. So far I have tried to convert a collection with samples in it, but a collection cannot be saved in PGM format. Then I tried saving an Instrument with several samples in it, it created one PGM file and one SND file.

What am i doing wrong?

** UPDATE **
Quasi success: Created new instrument and slected "drum kit", auto assigned the midi sequentialy fro B0 (note number 35), exported to pgm+snd.

This works fine but it does not export all the files (57 of them). And i have noticed this has something to do with the note i select in the midi assignment dialog. I selected B0 as this is note number 35, which is the first note number the 3K uses (35-98).

Help?

I was JUST about to say try "drum kit", lol.

i haven't did this in about 8 months so i can't even begin to walk you through it, but i have done it before for mpc
and triton using the drum kit just like you are doing. It CAN be done and don't give up. You are on the correct screens though.

Thanks Lampdog

It seems to be working fine accept the midi assignment part. It just doesn't convert all the files no matter what i do.

No Awave users?
