Saving Tracks Made By the MPC/ASR combo

...I was wondering what is the most convenient way to do this? Do the MIDI settings in the ASR get saved to its disks as well? I was thinking of sampling everything I compose in my EPS into the MPC once it was all said and done to keep everything in one storage space, the MPC Zips. Does that sound feasible?
