Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Hello everyone. I have the problem that when I go to save something, i changes the device and when I change the floppy drive to a zip drive my MPC stays wait and not do anything more. i think that the scsi interface not working properly. this 25-pin scsi interface conector is available?? please help me.

That's strange in another thread you kept saying what is Termination Switch you don't need that for a Zip Drive to work with the MPC.

I don't think that is what I said, at least not on purpose. You said the drive needed a "Termination ID" switch and I pointed out that there is no such thing. There is a Termination switch and a SCSI ID switch and you need at least the SCSI ID switch to be present in order for the drive to be a SCSI drive. If the drive is a Zip Plus (hybrid SCSI/Parallel) then it will not have the Termination switch because termination is automatic on those drives.
