To the owners of the 2500...

Are you happy with your 2500. Would you trade it in for another MPC?(i.e., MPC1000 with the JJOS)

I'm thinking about upgrading to the 2500 now that I know how to use the 500. Im not to bright with mixers and all that, but I think having a 2500 will inspire me to work harder and plus it has a bigger screen and with the 500, I feel like Im on the low end of the totem pole. I feel like if I had a bigger MPC, that it would inspire me to get better. I either want to upgrade to the 2500 or the 1000, I like the 2500 better. I just want to see how you guys feel about the 2500.

I am the proud owner of an MPC2500 and I wouldn't sell it or trade it for another MPC. I am 100% satisfied with it and don't care about any of the other models. Get one homie, you won't regret it! And as far as the 'low man on the totem pole' comment. You kind of are. Sorry.

i understand where you're coming from. but i would challenge you to try harder anyway. 2500 or not

Am generally happy with the 2500 - knew what it could and couldn't do before buying etc... plus I have other gear that does the stuff the mpc can't

I like it more than the 2000 I used to own - but that may mainly be down to the way it looks, rather than any massive differences, yeah, I'm shallow at times

Mind you, If I was buying one tomorrow I might consider holding on to my cash instead to see what the Linndrum 2 turns out like... and how well that'd work with the mpc you already got...

The only thing I'd really consider trading it for would be an SP-1200 lol
(and as tempting as that might be, I'd really have to think about it!)

So I should be joining the family as soon as my MPC arrives home.
Im real excited man.

I love my 2500 and wouldnt sell it for anything espcially since i got it at a great price. I would however buy a 1k (again) to accompany it and me for travelling purposes.
