Is it possile to replace the floppy-drive with internal SCSI -zipdrive? I use MPC2000. Not XL.

scsiforsamplers.com wrote:Yes, it is possible but you need to modify the internal ribbon cabling so that it provides a way to hook the zip drive into the SCSI bus. There is no internal SCSI connector inside the MPC2000, so you have to rig up a cable that goes from the board to the rear SCSI connector, then back over to the zip drive (which would then be terminated). There is a company called Forat (http://www.forat.com) that will do this mod for you or you can do it ourself with the right parts, which are usually available online.
