Help - assigning pad at load screen

I know at one time I could assign a a sound to a pad just after I press "do it" to load the sound. But now it just loads and doesn't give me the option to assign it to a pad. I'm not talking about in the record screen, but the load screen. Right now I'm stuck loading all my sounds, then going into the program and scrolling through all of them to assign to the right pads. That's **** with my flow.

I'm running JJOS 4.99. I used to have 3.something. Maybe the change happened when I upgraded. I don't remember when the change happened.

I'm not just imagining this am I. I really don't think so. I'm like 98% sure that I used to be able to assign a a sound to a pad when I load. Do I need to select this option somewhere?

Please help. It's drivin me nuts.

you can also press 'program' from trim mode, and do your assigning from there
