Hi Im a new MPC-60 mk1 owner version 3.1 OS and want to know if the ECHO SEND MIX OUT, ECHO RETURN IN is suitable to to use a real analog filter into the MPC ?????
Does the ECHO SEND MIX OUT, ECHO RETURN IN work well ????

The Frostwave is an actual clone of the Korg MS-20 and uses the same analog parts and circuits

The reason for the MPC is because I cant get a decent beat using a software beatbox and have mostly been using the Roland CR-8000 or making up drums with my SH-2 synth and CSQ-600 sequencer ie
eg

my gear
1: Macbook Pro and Apogee Duet, Logic Pro 8, MBOX micro
2: Frostwave Resonator
3: MPC-60
4: Emax 1 HD (Analog SSM filtors)
5: 2 x Emax 2 HD keyboards
6: Roland SH-2 and Roland CSQ-600 sequencer
7: Roland Juno 106 and Roland MC-500
8: Korg MS-03 External Signal Processor
9: Kenton Pro Solo 2 Midi-CV
10: Circuit bent Roland CR-8000 Analog Drum Machine (Poor mans 808)

Yes you can ,i do the same thing with a waldorf 4 poles filter , it 's just perfect because on the drum mixer of your MPC you have individuals controls for each sample ( like a dry / wet control in a effects rack )
A friend of mine has one of those frostwave , really good piece of gear !
