That's the plan, but i can't get the pad upgrade for awhile. The reason i'm even doing this is i can't use it until i get new pads anyway (as well as just practice for something else). But i may stay with the old pad design, i can get 8 new pads for under $50, or the new ones for $180, i'm not sure what i'll do right now.

Black screen surround for sure. Anyways, you got my exact plan lol.

Are you going to use decals for the lettering and then use some kind of gloss finish on top? Just curious what you have for a lettering plan

Yeah, i have acouple of ideas of how to do the lettering, hopefully one works well. Probably either getting vinyl laser cut or making a silkscreen for it. We will see, i probably won't get on that for a little bit though.

ok, you got me.. it's photoshopped wood from the piano and metalic frame from my bike:)

how did i fitted this to 1k? there were no many ideas, since i did those sidepanels very thin (11mm)
but i decided to go straighforward..

thats actually exactly how i was goin to do mine. but i really didnt want to put too much effort into it. looks good though. i think i only have an hour or so into making mine. and im not even planning on keeping this 1000.
