IS THERE A PROGRAM I CAN USE TO GET MY KITS OFF OF THE COMPUTER.

just sample your sounds from the computer, mite take a while but thats the only thing i can think of. Youll need an RCA to 1/8th inch jack then get 2 quaRTER inch adapters for the rca end. (im not sure if they make 2 quarter inch to 1/8 inch plugs). Plug the quarter inches into your record ins and your 1/8th inch into your speaker port of your ocmputer.

You don't tell us what format your kits are in but I'd suggest checking out either Translator (http://www.chickensystems.com) or MPCEditor (http://www.midicase.com/mpceditor/). It might take a bit of work but either program should get the job done.

o well the files i have are wav.i just want to burn them on to cd so i can load them up on the mpc 2000 cd rom drive.let me know if you have the clues.thanks a lot.

The cd on pc will have to be made into akai image format before the 2k classic will see it.
2kxl doesn't require the cd to be an akai image format.
This has been discussed here on the forums several times before but not in a long while.
Maybe an in-depth search can find all the details for you.
