Reviews and questions about the entry-level MPC500

What's up everyone? I'm new to the forums and MPC use and I have a quick question before my MPC 500 gets delivered in the mail today. What cables to I need to record a sample from my Numark PT01 turntable to the MPC 500? I have a cable right now with a red and white piece on one end and a line in (1/4) on the other end but I've studied pictures of the 500 and it doesn't seem like this will do it for me. Any help would be appreciated.

For the PT01 you will need a pair of RCA to 1/4" wires. Just an FYI I have the PT01, I take it for digging but thats it. For sampling it comes accross a bit scratchy. Not the best in the world but it WILL work to get started
