Man, u in chi too, check out unique thrift in the south suburbs like Dolton or Markham. Thats it, you get no more of my digging spots. :)

Stealing records that are $.49 a piece? I'm broke but damn. You might want to get your shit together. Or check your priorities.

I went for my first time today... still waiting on my MPC in the mail but I have a turntable so I figured why not browse Cheapo.

I just got some random cheap shit that has almost certainly been sampled infinitely.

Obviously looking for soul, jazz, funk, 70's rock, psychedelia, really cool covers, or worthwhile instrumental music isn't something some people clue in to I guess.

If it's vinyl it's gotta have something dope? Not True!!

Now that you got your 1st mission accomplished and at least have some wreckids...to give you at least some direction for next time....just buy records with covers of people that are wearing afros and are black (later on you can deviate from this)...

After that 2nd mission is done, have a look at the records that have nice sounds that you like. Look at the record labels...musicians...the years....then try and find more like those.

Oh yeah...if you only find 1 or 2 wreckids that fit the bill...that's ok. Just pick ones that actually look worth copping. You have to learn how not to buy just for the sake of buying, or else you will end up with piles and piles of garbage....heavy garbage.

one day when i was walking home, i seen a couple crates behind albertsons, an took them.. but, my records were just a few inches too big to fit in them, so i just put them back. i was tryna find some bigger crates.

when you find them LET ME KNOW ,cause there aint bigger ones trust that, if there milk crates you have to put them in side ways. theres not a size that fits records in perfectly inless you buy them from the store ....FILE CRATES.
