Just tried the "6pad 1bar" edit mode.
MODE+15, then NUMERIC

TRx0x style programming, excellent!

Velocity is set to max as default it seems, can I input other velocities or will I have to edit this afterwards?

I wouldn't call it that, because what this actually does is enabling the pattern Editor for this one bar, splitting the 16 possible positions for events across the 16 pads. Very interesting for creating ill azz break beats. Therfore I'd call it 6pad pattern mode, but whatever. It seems that you have to manually adjust the velocity level after recording inside grid or step edit, whatever you prefer.

to edit velocity, do this... in grid edit mode, press OVERDUB. scroll to the event you want to edit, and press F5 (EDIT) and you can edit the fields T, D, and V. I just discovered this 5 minutes ago, so i could be wrong about the meaning of the letters, but I'm guessting it's TUNE, DURATION, and VELOCITY. I know for a fact V is velocity.

yeh im likeing this mode too, reminds me of a Tr505.

* thred hijack - what about the line patterns, i managed to sequence my synth with it, by modulating pitch via velocity (very limited range though), can i import the line patterns into my seq's? etc...
