if you got logic, then you got soundtrack pro. that's my go-to audio editor right there.

Other options are

dsp quattro
bias peak
Audiofile Engineering Wave Editor
Freeverse Sound Studio
Hairersoft Amadeus Pro and Amadeus
TwistedWave
audacity

I've used DSP Quattro and Peak, I prefer Soundtrack Pro over both of them.

you won't find any editor that match soundforge workflow...even in my opinion it's the best out there
BIAS peak it's good as soon as you memo the basic keys shortcut combo.

I did the 100 days trial for snapper a few months back and it was a good concept but rather buggy.. maybe it's time to give it a try again...
