theres many dealers out there that want to sell the hole lot not just one or two records ,thats part of the game of buy records sometimes you just have to know how to get rid of the ones that you dont want. these days theres not alot of records that will buy them or even sell records....japan is the place to be fofr records they make many trips here to the US to buy records to take back there to sell....i have met many delaers from over there.

i know how to buy records, i dont just buy for the breaks and samples, i buy for the music buying for breaks and samples is a plus if it's on the record

Alright player do your thing. I mean you know record dealers from Japan so you must be a big shot. Shipping fees on something like that would be incredibly high not to mention the fcat that even if only 500 000 of those records are truly worth it your price is still offset by 2.5 million records that aren't even worth a $1 at resale.
And once again I reinstate the fcat thta you have to deal with a dealer that will probably ensure that there's a clause somewhere in the deal saying that the collection must be kept together.

BTW, only suckers buy records just for breaks and samples. That's not even the issue being discussed in this case.

that's a real tragedy... it makes me sad. it's true, what he said and all. commercialized and shit, it's all going down the tubes. if some rich guy were to just think about it and buy it and store it, it would mean so much to so many people.

i only watched the 10 minute video so i dont know the whole story, but it does seem way ridic to try and sell the entire collection off in one piece. the dude is holding an unreleased stones record allegedy worth 10k and his collection is supposed to be worth an estimated 15 mill. why not just sell off 10 to 15 records that fetch those types of prices and save your business and your health?

Folks don't want to bring a bulky CD case in the car anymore; MP3's are the way of the future. He should have sold that record store the day Napster went online to the public! No matter how fantastic vinyl sounds, nothing sounds better than FREE!
Plus.. I have about 5000 records in my collection. Had to move them twice in the last 10 years. If I move again, their staying with house. I'll get a crate for the absolute keepers, but the rest can stay! If I had to move 2 million records, I would give up before I got started!

Update: The collection sold for a little over 3 million.
