Alchemist Effect

can anyone tell me how to make that alchemist effect he makes with his name.

note repeat rate on the q-link?

not in front of the mpc at the moment, but this seems like it would do it

anyone know how to do the kev brown effect?

Yeah thats all it is... He just has his name sampled twice 1 on a pad and the other on a seperate pad.

Either Note Repeat should do the job or just bounce back to back on the pads with MUTE GROUP on.

Now the hard part would be the way his name is said... It sounds sort of Outer Spacish... LoL

Maybe the Q-Link but then how did he get this done on the ASR-10 when it was his main tool? I know the ASR-10 has alot of effects but?

The ASR 10 can also record its mains outs and place the new sample onto a key for further processing. So if one pass is not enough you can redo this many millions of times if you like, with no degradation of the digital signal. None.
