Depends, is it the plastic buttons or the switches that are bad?

i am not sure exactly what the difference between the two is (switch or button etc)

im trying to find those red 'tactile switches' from somewhere other than mpc stuff - i heard you could get them cheaper as components online, but i've not found them yet -

has anyone here bought them from mpc stuff? - do they have any markings/branding/serial number?

Yea they are prolly a few bucks on ebay for like a 25 pack.

If you do find them please share... I've spent way more money fixing my 1k than any other sampler I've ever had.

i have had my mpc for 3/4 of a year and the buttons are already messing up
i feel like i should switch to software to avoid the pain in the arse

are there clear installation instructions included with the components from mpc stuff?
